Master of Computer Applications

Program Overview

The Department of Master of Computer Applications (MCA) at PES College of Engineering, Mandya, which pioneered the MCA program in Karnataka in 1992, proudly celebrates over 32 years of excellence in shaping the next generation of tech leaders.

Led by a team of highly qualified faculty, the department has consistently stayed ahead of the curve. What began as a three-year program evolved into an autonomous course in 2008 and is now affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and recognized by AICTE. From the academic year 2020-2021, the program transitioned to a two-year format, keeping pace with the rapid changes in the IT landscape.

Committed to fostering continuous learning, the department regularly hosts industry-driven workshops and technical seminars, offering students direct access to cutting-edge developments in the world of Computer Science and Applications.

The MCA curriculum is meticulously crafted to meet the dynamic needs of the tech industry, ensuring that graduates are not only academically proficient but also industry-ready. Our distinguished alumni are making an impact across the globe, with placements in top-tier MNCs such as HP, iGATE, IBM, Emphasis, Nokia Siemens, Mindtree, TCS, Accenture, Infosys, Oracle, Wipro, Aeries Global, and Tech Mahindra, among many others.
